Starting childcare is a significant milestone for many children and their families, often marking the first time a child is separated from their loved ones. We understand that this transition can feel overwhelming, which is why our priority is to make the process as smooth and reassuring as possible for everyone involved, especially your child.

At Empowered Family Day Care (EFDCS), we see ourselves as partners in your child's education and care journey. Our team of dedicated Educators works closely with families from the very beginning, fostering open communication and a spirit of collaboration. We believe that strong relationships, built on trust and regular exchange of information, are the foundation for a successful childcare experience.

During enrolment and orientation, we encourage you to share as much detail about your child and family as you can so we can provide individualised support. In turn, we'll provide you with comprehensive information about our service and practices, both verbally and in writing.

Access to Information and Ongoing Support

As part of the Empowered FDC community, you’ll have access to your own parent portal, where you can find our policies, newsletters, forms, invoicing and accounting records, educational programs, and observations of your child’s learning journey. Our friendly team is always here to help—no question is too big or too small—so please don’t hesitate to reach out for guidance or support.

Flexible, Reliable Care Throughout the Year

We provide care for families and children all year round, only closing for approved QLD and National Public Holidays. Our Educators set their own hours of operation, and fees may vary between services according to our Fee Policy. To help you plan, Educators may charge between $9-$30 per hour for routine, non-routine or casual hours.

Tailored Care for Every Family

Our Educators offer flexible care options for children from birth to 13 years, including before and after school care, vacation care, long day care, part-time care, roster care, overnight and weekend care, as well as occasional childcare. During your initial interview, please discuss your specific care needs directly with your Educator to ensure you find the best arrangement for your family.
